2018

Project — To celebrate Hornbach’s 20-year presence in the Netherlands, we set out to create a campaign that honored the country’s distinct DIY spirit. Together with the team at Phenomenons and director Bear Damen (Czar), we immersed ourselves in the Dutch maker subculture—uncovering stories of grit, perseverance, and purpose. The result was a heartfelt, locally resonant campaign that positioned Hornbach not just as a hardware store, but as a true ally to the hands-on community it serves.

My Role — I was part of a small, hands-on team at Phenomenons, where I helped develop a campaign rooted in real customer stories from all 12 Hornbach stores across the Netherlands. I visited each location to uncover these stories and conducted cultural research to capture the nuances of the local DIY subculture. I also joined the production on set, working closely with the creative team.
